PADI TEC Instructor
As a Tec Instructor you will join an elite group of instructors qualified to guide students through the challenge of completing technical diver training. This course can qualify you to independently conduct the Tec 40, Tec 45 and Tec 50 diver courses (using air or trimix up to a max. 21/40) to divers who meet the student prerequisites for each level. Instructor training is a demanding program that tests your technical diving knowledge and skills and builds upon your demonstration abilities by incorporating complex skills and dry runs in to your teaching repertoire. The course is conducted over 4 to 5 full days. As with all instructor level training you will also give knowledge based presentations and water based skill development presentations.
Becoming a Tec Instructor should not be viewed as a ‘logical next step’ in your professional progression, it should be reserved for those who share a passion for this type of diving and for those who welcome the discipline required to complete such dives. If you are willing to accept these risks with the increased duty of care required for programs of this stature you will find that running PADI Tec courses are rewarding and genuinely fulfilling.
Ready to start?
Contact us with your credentials to ensure you have the required prerequisites then we can create a training schedule to suit you. For anyone not yet holding any tec diver certifications you can still start training with the Tec 40, 45 and 50 diver courses followed by instructor training. Post requisites will apply but instructor training can be undertaken (at instructor discretion) directly after student certification has been achieved.
