If you’ve ever finished a dive and thought, “I wish this were my job,” becoming a Dive Master might be the next step. At DiveTech, we’ve helped hundreds of experienced divers transform their passion into professional-level skills - and we’re proud to offer one of the most respected Dive Master training programs in the Caribbean.
Whether you want to work in the dive industry, assist instructors, or simply become a better diver and leader, here’s what you need to know about going pro with DiveTech in Grand Cayman.
What Is a Dive Master?
The Dive Master certification (offered by both PADI and SSI) is the first level of professional training in scuba diving.
As a Dive Master, you can:
Guide certified divers on dive trips
Assist instructors in training courses.
Lead snorkel tours
Conduct refresher sessions for rusty divers.
Act as a mentor, planner, and safety pro on any dive
You’ll become the link between students and instructors - and the diver everyone looks to for calm, confidence, and control.
