Dive for a Cause. Celebrate Community. Create Change.
On Saturday, July 18, 2026, Divetech will proudly host its 12th Annual PADI Women's Dive Day, continuing a tradition that has become one of Grand Cayman's most anticipated community fundraising events.
What began as a celebration of women in diving has evolved into something much greater—a day that brings together divers, snorkelers, families, local businesses, and ocean lovers from across the Cayman Islands to support an important cause: the Cayman Islands Breast Cancer Foundation.
For the past 12 years, Divetech's Women's Dive Day has demonstrated the incredible impact that can be achieved when a community unites around a shared purpose. Since 2018 alone, the event has raised more than $60,000 for the Cayman Islands Breast Cancer Foundation, helping support individuals and families affected by breast cancer throughout the Cayman Islands.
Part of a Global Movement

PADI Women's Dive Day began in 2015 and has since grown into the world's largest celebration of women in diving. Today, events are held in more than 180 countries, bringing together thousands of divers to promote inclusion, confidence, education, leadership, and ocean stewardship. Women now account for nearly 40% of recreational PADI certifications worldwide, reflecting the continued growth and influence of women within the diving community.
The 2026 PADI Women's Dive Day theme, "Celebrate Community. Create Change.", perfectly reflects the spirit of Divetech's annual event. While participants come together to enjoy Cayman’s spectacular underwater world, they are also creating meaningful change through fundraising and community support.
Supporting the Cayman Islands Breast Cancer Foundation

The Cayman Islands Breast Cancer Foundation has been providing hope, support, education, and resources to those impacted by breast cancer since 2009. Today, the Foundation supports hundreds of individuals through wellness programs, counselling services, patient support resources, awareness campaigns, and early detection initiatives.
Every dollar raised during Divetech's Women's Dive Day stays within the Cayman Islands community, helping local families navigate the challenges associated with breast cancer diagnosis and treatment.
For many participants, the event is about more than diving—it is about honoring loved ones, supporting survivors, remembering those lost, and standing together as a community.
More Than Just a Dive Day
Women's Dive Day at Divetech welcomes everyone.
While the event celebrates women in diving, participation is open to divers, snorkelers, friends, family members, and supporters of all genders. Throughout the day, participants enjoy diving and snorkeling activities, underwater challenges, fundraising games, raffle prizes donated by local businesses, and community celebrations both above and below the surface.
One of the highlights each year is the incredible support from Cayman's business community. Local companies generously donate prizes, gift certificates, services, experiences, and products that help drive fundraising efforts and make the event even more exciting for participants.
Their generosity has played a major role in helping Women's Dive Day become one of Divetech's most successful annual charity events.
