Experience the Best Shore Diving in Grand Cayman
Right at the point where West meets North is our fantastic shore dive site Cobalt Coast.
Divers can enter the water from the ladder at the end of the dock and expect a nice and easy swim exploring the hard pan looking for little critters in around scattered coral reef. The dive site slopes gently away from shore for about 700ft, starting at around 20-25ft to the top of the mini wall which is around 40-50ft.
On top of the wall there is a beautiful landscape of soft and hard coral along with colourful schooling fish everywhere. The wall then drops away to reveal wide and narrow channels with drastic overhangs, leading to the sandy floor at around 65-75ft. Explore the channels and look for giant barrel sponges and sea fans, large barracuda, snapper and much more!
Swim along the wall exploring big patches of coral reef keeping your eye out to the vast sandy landscape for Stingrays, Eagle Rays, Turtles and Sharks.
This dive site is very diverse with so much to explore, one dive just might not be enough!

Just off Divetech’s Lighthouse Point location lies one of the best shore diving sites in the world. Known for it’s great visibility, rich marine life, and easy access, Divetech's shore location is a great location for divers of all levels and abilities.
300 feet from shore, divers will find our mini-wall with profiles ranging from 35-70 feet deep. This is where you'll find our Guardian of the Reef statue sitting in the sand. Swimming another 300 feet west, divers will encounter the main wall, with its spectacular drop off into the abyss. Tops of the main wall coral reach as shallow as 40 feet, with dramatic canyons running out to the deep. A reference line in the sandy patch between walls aids in navigation to and from the main wall.
