Technical Dive Training
Experience Technical Diving
The ½ day Intro to tech diving allows divers to get a taste of what technical diving is about. The experience includes an information session on the styles of equipment, double tanks and deco bottles, gear rigging, diving, and safety. You’ll set up your gear and then enjoy an extended dive, while remaining within no-decompression limits.

Our staff teach from a variety of training agencies enabling divers to safely experience deeper depths using double tanks, deco bottles and limited decompression.

The Sidemount Diver Specialty Course teaches you how to configure and use one or two cylinders mounted at your sides instead of on your backs, by configuring your tanks under your arms rather than on the back. This configuration is well suited to many different environments and implies excellent advantages for divers with limited mobility or physical limitations, is popular for cave diving and allows divers to travel and use regular single tanks as are normally available. Upon successful completion of this course, divers may engage in sidemount diving activities without direct supervision provided that safety and decompression stops are adhered to as appropriate or necessary and dives do not exceed diver’s current certification level.
The following is a price list for various training classes. Class tuition is for the class costs only. Due to the volatility of helium gas prices, and availability on a small Caribbean island, pricing listed below does not include the cost of your breathing gasses, or the instructor's breathing gasses.
Gas costs are based off the market price of helium at the time the class is taken. Helium prices can and do fluctuate. The sheet below will update in real-time based on the most recent price of helium and oxygen. The column labeled 'gasses' is an estimate, based off what an average student uses during the class. Your actual price is based off the number of cubic feet we actually pump into your tanks during filling, and this number may be lower or higher, depending on your actual usgage. For questions on this policy, please contact us.
Some classes require what is known as E-learning. This is an online learning program through the training agency website, designed to supplement your academic learning of the topic.
E-learning fees are paid directly to the training agency, and are not included in your class tuition. The column on the price sheet below titled 'e-learning' is the fee the training agency will collect for the e-learning process.
E-learning is not required for all classes. Your instructor will assist you in selecting the correct e-learning program if is required for your class. E-Learning must be completed in full prior to your training.
All training classes require a medical waiver be filled out in full prior to the start of class. The medical waiver may be downloaded here. Please take a moment to review it. If you answer 'yes' to any of the questions on the waiver, we must have a note from a physician, dated within 6 months, which says that you are medically cleared to dive.
