Not certified? Not a problem
For those who are not certified scuba divers, Divetech has a few different paths to get you in the water.
Discover Scuba Diving
How about trying diving without going through the whole certification process? The Discover Scuba Program is ideal for those who are not sure whether they want to get fully certified, don't have the time for it or just want to try something a bit different while on vacation.
The program takes half a day day and includes classroom time, equipment set up, practice in the pool and then out on an ocean adventure dive!
Discover Scuba Diving is open to ages 10 and up, with all equipment, training and diving included. For the younger ones in the family who want to try diving ask about our kids programs.
Open Water Diver
The Open Water Diver certification is the first certification you'll earn, and allows you to scuba dive with your buddy, without professional supervision.
We offer the following course options for Open Water Diver certification:
eLearning -2 days
eLearning allows you to complete the academic portion of your class online, from the comfort of your home. After the completion of your eLearning, (this take on average 8 hours,) you will spend two full days with us training in-water.
To enroll in eLearning, you'll need to sign up for the academic portion by clicking the button below.
Referral classes - 2 half-days
You may also complete your academics and confined water dives at your local dive shop, and then come to Grand Cayman for your open water dives. This is known as a referral class, and is very popular. It allows you to learn at home and support your local dive shop, while completing your final 4 open water checkout dives here in paradise.
Rates in USD including any applicable taxes. Scuba Experience programs, Open Water Courses and Refreshers include use of tanks, weights and all rental equipment. eLearning registration fees not included.
