The KISS Crossover Challenge

Satisfaction or your money back!

At Divetech we love the KISS Orca Spirit rebreather. What’s not to love? It’s a fully capable trimix rebreather  that weighs less than 40 lbs ready to dive. It packs in a carry-on legal suitcase, it’s simple, it’s streamlined. And it just works.

We think you will love it too, and we’d like you to see what the fuss is about. Divetech invites you to take the KISS Crossover Challenge.

After your class, did you like the KISS Orca Spirt?

If so, enjoy 2 days of additional rental time diving the KISS Orca Spirt at no charge on us – to begin building your hours.

Why do we love the KISS Orca Spirit so much?

Trim in a wetsuit - Rebreather divers often have a tough time achieving good horizontal trim while wearing a wetsuit. This is the result of counterlungs that allow air on the top of the diver, along with tank valves on the lower half of the diver's torso. This results in a very unstable platform. The KISS Orca Spirit with it's rib-wrap lung design allows for very stable trim with no effort.

Good trim is essential for technical diving. Buoyancy and skills become much easier when one has a well-balanced rig. When you need to fin constantly to maintain trim, this is multi-tasking you, and will cause skills degradation.

Watch the video below to see how easy good trim in a KISS Orca Spirit LTE is.

Simplicity - KISS stands for Keep It Super Simple. Simplicity is a hallmark in good engineering. Simple designs, like the KISS Orca Spirit have less to fail. Parts that do fail can be easily repaired in the field using simple hand tools. The overall result of the simple design is more time in the water.

Watch the video below to see how quickly and easily one can assemble their KISS rebreather.

Lightweight - Ready to dive with oxygen and absorbent the KISS Orca Sprirt LTE weights just 38 lbs. This is about the same weight as an aluminum 80! The lightweight nature of the unit makes it easy for transport - particularly by air. This also means you can still be neutrally buoyant in the water - even without a wing.

Ease of use - Due to the KISS Orca Spirit simplicity, it's very easy to use. Setup, breakdown, cleaning and maintenance all take just minutes.

Fully capable - Out of the box, the KISS Orca Spirit is rated for 90 meters of depth. It was designed for solid reliability, and is suited for all manor of overhead environment - cave, wreck and decompression diving.
