Shhhhhhhhhhh.... Rebreathers are here. Try out a rebreather dive - no noise, no bubbles! We offer courses on a variety of Closed Circuit Rebreathers (CCR) or just get support for your CCR or SCR of choice. Rebreathers are available for rent to rebreather certified divers or to students for courses. For divers wanting to try a rebreather, we offer an 'Experience Rebreather Diving' program. These are an absolute must for the adventurous diver and photographers wanting to try something new! Our current options for rental, sale or training are:

REBREATHER
RENTALS & SUPPLIES We carry extra CCR bottles in rental if you wish to travel light, and have CCR and SCR rentals available for certified divers. Bailout cylinders of 30, 40 and 63cuft are DIN and ready to go with carrying straps and clips to keep you safe.
All of our courses are conducted from shore and we have 2 great locations to choose from. Lighthouse Point and Cobalt Coast Resort - our new dive resort. So, if it's lots of variety and lots of diving that interests you, it's convenient access to 2 of the best reefs that can be found in Cayman. Showers, fresh water rinse tanks, dive lockers & dock and ladder entrance are found on-site, as well as Duppies Bar & Restaurant at Cobalt Coast for snacks and drinks after your dive. Boat trips to the North Wall and NW Point are done on a daily basis also. CLOSED CIRCUIT REBREATHER DIVER - Recreational Level (All units) This program trains divers to safely use a Closed Circuit Rebreather to depths up to 130FSW/39MSW using air diluent only. (100FSW/30MSW recommended without any helium) It includes theory, planning, preparation and in-water skills. After learning how a CCR works, students will receive hands-on experience of assembling and dismantling the unit. All important pre-dive checks will be thoroughly covered and in-water skills will be practiced in confined and open water to ensure the diver is comfortable with all aspects of the unit’s use. This program is designed for divers wishing to enter the underwater realm in total silence. CCR bubble-free diving allows greater interaction with marine creatures and is excellent for underwater photography. It is also the entry level for divers wishing in the future to dive the Inspiration on mixed gases. The course content includes the following:
Pre-requisites: IANTD Advanced Nitrox or TDI Decompression Procedures/Advanced EANx diver or equivalent of this certification (another training agency, full cave, etc.). Proof of a minimum of 50 logged dives. Minimum 18 years of age Program Cost: US$1125. Included in the course: IANTD or TDI CCR student manual & workbook, IANTD or TDI Student Certification fees and card all classroom lectures, two confined water skills sessions and six open water dives. You are responsible to have a CCR for this course, or can rent one for $500.US for the week. Program Schedule: The CCR Diver Course runs a minimum of 6 days. Any additional dives to complete the bottom time requirements are US$100.00. Standards require that in order to complete the CCR course, you must own a CCR or have ready and continual access to one, proof of which must be given prior to acceptance into the course. We can drop ship a CCR to you, pre-purchased by you for the course. CLOSED CIRCUIT REBREATHER DIVER - Normoxic Level OR Trimix (All units) This program trains divers to safely use a Closed Circuit Rebreather to depths up to 200FSW/60MSW (Normoxic) or 330FSW/100MSW (Trimix) using helium/nitrogen/oxygen mixtures. It includes theory, planning, preparation and in-water skills. After learning how a CCR works, students will receive hands-on experience of assembling and dismantling the unit. All important pre-dive checks will be thoroughly covered and in-water skills will be practiced in confined and open water to ensure the diver is comfortable with all aspects of the unit’s use. This program is designed for divers wishing to dive deeper on their CCR. CCR bubble-free diving allows greater interaction with marine creatures and is excellent
Pre-requisites: IANTD or TDI CCR diver, Proof of a minimum of 100 logged dives with 30 deeper than 90FSW/27MSW; Minimum of 20 dives and 25 logged hours on the CCR being trained on, Minimum 18 years of age Cost: US$1125. (Normoxic) or $900. (Trimix) Included in the course: IANTD or TDI CCR Normoxic/Trimix student manual and workbook, CCR Owners Guide, IANTD or TDI Student Certification fees and card, all classroom lectures, one confined water skills sessions and four open water dives. You are responsible to have a CCR for this course. Schedule: CCR Normoxic Course - 6 days; CCR Trimix Course - 4 days. Any additional dives to complete the bottom time requirements are US$120.00.

The Experience program is designed for certified Advanced Open Water divers
over 16 year of age, to introduce you to all of the advantages and safety
issues that are related to CCR diving. The experience includes
an information session on the history of Rebreathers, advantages, differences,
equipment, safety and 'how-to' dive a rebreathers. Following classroom
and equipment setup, you will enjoy a
fantastic, fun and unusual dive
on the mini wall at Turtle Reef. Bring your mask and fins - we'll supply
the rest. As an experience program, you are not required to be Nitrox
certified.
