Ron Steven, better known as Rogest…  “The brilliant colors and bio-diversity of the underwater environment has undoubtedly influenced my paintings. The vivid underwater images I have experienced have burned a vibrant seascape into my imagination. This is the source of my inspiration. You will learn a new style of painting, and I will guarantee you will turn out a mini master piece or two and have fun". Ron uses the Australian Aboriginal dot art style in his painting. You will use seawater (salt) and sand from the dive sites for texture, making the paintings truly a part of the dive and the dive a part of your paintings. Rogest’s work has been featured on the front covers of many magazines around the world, with articles and portfolios of his work featured prominently. An ardent supporter of the environment, Ron has worked closely with DAN both in the USA and Australia. He has donated his work to O.W.U. Scholarship Society, Conservation International, Ocean Pals, Oceans for Youth Foundation, REEF, Catalina Conservancy Divers, W.W.F., the Marine Mammal Care Center in California, Cayman National Trust and the Cayman Islands Department of the Environment.   www.rogest.com
